About KariYoga

KariYoga is Karin's yoga company. Karin is a fully qualified British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) diploma holder with appropriate Health & Safety and anatomy and physiology training, fully insured through the BWY. Her teaching is inspired by Vanda Scaravelli's yoga teachings and the mindfulness tradition which centre around using the natural movement and capacity in the body to increase strength and movement as well as training the mind to be fully present with everything we do. 

Karin also teaches mindfulness meditation workshops which help people make the most out of life but can also help you cope better with whatever life throws at you.

KariYoga classes offer gentle yet very effective exercise which will:

• Improve flexibility and strength
• Re-balance body & breath
• Correctly align the body
• Help students to let go of tension
• Relax mind & body
• Help you manage and enjoy your life off the mat

Modifications and adaptations are made for people with health problems and physical limitations. If in doubt, contact Karin to discuss any concerns.

REMEMBER you don't have to be super fit and flexible to start yoga! It can be practiced to some level by anyone, no matter your age, ability or health issues. If you are in doubt whether yoga is right for you, contact Karin to talk it over.

The mindfulness work can help people in many different ways and is especially useful if you are ill and unable to practice physical yoga. However it is a useful tool for anyone to manage life's challenges.

Students are provided with handouts to complement what you learn in classes and workshops, and to help you practice at home should you wish to do so.
