My personal practice of yoga and mediation now spans twelve years. I have been teaching yoga and meditation for four years and I completed the British Wheel of Yoga teaching diploma (3 year course) which covers a module on yoga philosophy and meditation. In addition I completed two specialist meditation modules with BWY meditation tutor Maarten Vermaasse. I continue to regularly attend courses and meditation retreats at Samye Ling, one of the UK's leading Tibetan Buddhist Centres. I have also completed Aberdeen University's mindfulness module, the first stage of a 3 year post graduate study programme on applying mindfulness techniques in professional settings.
